Control Risks is a specialist risk consultancy who are committed to helping their clients build organisations that are secure, compliant and resilient in an age of ever-changing risk and connectivity.

CORE
The risk management application provides their clients incisive analysis and forecasting on geopolitical and security issues, a series of country risk ratings and an extensive database of incidents. Coupled with visualisation and analytics tools, these help clients to make informed business decisions and plan operations with confidence.

Tasks
Working and collaborating with the Online Solutions and Product team at Control Risks to deliver detailed UI designs for the risk management application, CORE and HYPERCORE.

  • Our focus is to improve the online experience of the product, CORE and HYPERCORE by teaming-up with the US company Geospark Analytics to help security, intelligence and business resiliency teams to identify and forecast emerging global events at machine speed.
  • Implementing UX user research and usability testing.
  • Working with wireframes, specifications and assisting the development team throughout sprints.
  • Using some HTML and CSS to enable design decisions; providing excellent digital and graphic design direction to focus on a 360 consumer communication.
  • Working on mapping, data visualisation and illustrations.
  • Creating sitemaps, user-journeys and user-flows and keep improving the design language system.
  • Enjoying being pro-active and creative.
